SLS MATERIAL SPEC SHEET

URETHANE MATERIALS

SLA

DPT can produce SLA parts in five different materials (click here for comparison):

  • DSM 9120 to simulate flexible thermoplastics like polypropylene
  • DSM 11122XC for waterclear parts and rapid tooling patterns
  • DSM 12120 for high heat applications (can operate up to 259° F)
  • DSM 18420 for functional assemblies with ABS production part appearance
  • DMX-SL 100 for high impact strength and production plastic appearance

Material samples are available upon request.

Polyjet

DPT can produce polyjet parts in four different materials (click here for comparison). Part can also be built simultaneously in two different materials to simulate two shot injection molded parts:

  • Vero White to simulate rigid thermoplastics
  • Vero Blue to simulate rigid thermoplastics
  • Tango Black to simulate elastomers (Shore A 61)
  • Tango Gray to simulate elastomers (Shore A 75)

SLS

GF Nylon for mechanical properties that support functional testing in most applications. The large percentage of SLS applications are met using GF Nylon.

Material samples are available upon request.

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)

DPT can produce FDM parts in two different materials (click here for comparison):

  • FDM ABS
  • FDM Polycarbonate.

Colors are available, contact DPT for more information.

URETHANE CASTING

  • DPT offers urethane castings from Shore A 25 (rubber-like) to Shore D 90 , giving the prototype the same "feel" as a production part (click here for comparison):
  • These materials simulate a wide variety of production materials from soft durameter elastomers to high tensile strength thermoplastics including high heat applications, 94vO flame retardant applications.

INJECTION MOLDING

Most thermoplastics can be used.
