An Overview
EMI/RFI shield coatings contain and block potentially detrimental electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. This type of shielding is typically used for integrated circuit housings. This type of shielding can be applied using electroless plating and by electroplating plastic.
EMI/RFI shielding is typically used in medical equipment, military hardware, telecommunications systems, and anti-static applications.
